Work-Cover & CTP
For individuals who have experienced a work-related injury or motor vehicle accident. Our psychologist is registered with the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and has experience in treating trauma-related conditions. The sessions are tailored to the individual's needs.
Evidence-Based Frameworks
Our practice relies on scientific research and empirical evidence to guide the development and implementation of psychological interventions. These frameworks prioritise interventions that have shown to be effective through rigorous research and evaluation, ensuring the best possible outcomes for individuals seeking psychological support. By using these frameworks, psychologists can provide tailored interventions that are grounded in the latest research.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a well-established, evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. It helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns and develop practical strategies to manage challenges more effectively. By learning to shift rigid or self-critical thoughts, individuals gain greater emotional balance and confidence in handling daily stressors. Jasmine incorporates CBT techniques to help individuals build resilience, strengthen problem-solving skills, and cultivate healthier ways of thinking and responding.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages mindfulness and self-compassion while helping individuals take meaningful action aligned with their values. It teaches psychological flexibility — the ability to stay present, accept difficult experiences, and focus on what truly matters, even when life feels uncertain or challenging. ACT supports individuals in developing a kinder relationship with their thoughts and emotions, reducing the struggle to control or avoid them. Through this approach, Jasmine helps clients clarify what gives their lives purpose, build resilience in the face of discomfort, and move toward greater authenticity, balance, and fulfilment.
Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps clients process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. It works by activating the brain’s natural ability to reprocess memories, reducing their emotional intensity and helping clients feel safer and more grounded in the present. Through this process, clients can release the emotional charge of past experiences and develop more adaptive beliefs about themselves and the world. Jasmine provides EMDR therapy within a safe, paced, and supportive environment, helping clients restore a sense of balance, empowerment, and resilience.
Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that helps people understand the deeper emotional patterns shaping their lives. It explores how early experiences influence current thoughts, emotions, and relationships — particularly when old coping styles or self-beliefs continue to cause distress in the present. By bringing awareness to these patterns, clients can begin to reconnect with their core needs and create more balanced, fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others. Jasmine draws on Schema Therapy–informed approaches to support clients in recognising and reshaping these long-standing themes, fostering healing, self-understanding, and lasting change.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy combines mindfulness with practical skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. It was designed to support people who experience intense emotions or difficulties in relationships, helping them find balance between acceptance and change. Through DBT-informed strategies, Jasmine helps clients develop tools to manage emotional intensity, build self-compassion, and create more stable and connected relationships. This approach empowers clients to respond to life’s challenges with greater calm, clarity, and confidence.
Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Interpersonal Therapy is a collaborative, evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between emotional wellbeing and relationships. It helps clients explore how life transitions, grief, role changes, or communication difficulties can influence mood and self-esteem. Through gentle exploration and skill development, IPT supports clients in improving relationship patterns, resolving conflict, and strengthening social support. Jasmine uses this approach to help clients navigate periods of change, process loss, and build more meaningful and fulfilling connections with others, fostering stability and emotional growth.
